The Assistant Director of Nursing / Staff Development Coordinator role is onsite in Edgartown, MA. Pay is $100,000–$110,000 per year. The position supports nursing leadership and resident-centered care at Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard. Working with the Director of Nursing, the role supports nursing services, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and resident care quality while leading staff orientation, education, and competency development. It helps strengthen the nursing team’s ability to provide safe, high-quality care.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services
• supervise and coach nursing staff
• support regulatory compliance, quality improvement, survey readiness, staffing coordination, and incident follow-up
• participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
• support infection prevention, medication management, risk management, and resident safety
• serve as acting Director of Nursing when appropriate
• coordinate orientation, ongoing education, annual training, competency assessments, and training records.
