The Auto Body Tech is an onsite role based in Gresham, OR. Compensation is $26 - $33 per hour flat rate. This role supports the collision and glass services department at Gerber Collision & Glass. The Auto Body Tech is responsible for the meticulous assessment and quality repair of customer vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. This role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembles vehicles while maintaining high standards of quality and customer excellence.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
