Parenting Pastor

The Parenting Pastor role is onsite in Osseo, MN; compensation is not specified. The position serves Creative Church by pastoring, discipling, equipping, and strengthening parents and families to build Christ-centered homes and participate in the life and mission of the church. The pastor provides ongoing biblical guidance and pastoral care, helps families develop faith practices at home, and connects them with church ministries and relationships. The role also develops parenting groups and classes and collaborates with children’s, junior high, youth, and other next-generation ministries.

What you'll do

• Meet with parents and couples
• listen, pray, encourage, teach, and provide biblical guidance
• follow up and build ongoing relationships
• help parents establish faith practices at home
• connect families with church attendance, groups, membership, serving, and ministry opportunities
• develop parenting groups, classes, workshops, and gatherings
• teach or lead platform activities as assigned
• maintain ministry calendars and pastoral-care records
• and follow confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
