Operations Technician — Johnson Plant

The Operations Technician — Johnson Plant role is onsite in Daggett, MI, with compensation of $24–$35 per hour. Northern Biogas develops and operates facilities that convert organic waste into renewable energy. The technician helps keep plant operations safe, reliable, and compliant through equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and facility upkeep. The work contributes to the operation of anaerobic digester and renewable natural gas facilities.

What you'll do

• Maintain plant cleanliness and general upkeep
• inspect and perform preventive maintenance on compression station engines and equipment
• troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and correct deficiencies
• complete records and communicate with management
• operate and maintain site equipment
• follow site protocols and applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Limited weekend hours and after-hours/on-weekend call-in and alarm response are required as needed.
