Senior Vice President of Operations

The Senior Vice President of Operations role is onsite in Bellingham, WA, with an expected annual base salary of $150,000–$200,000. Saturna Capital provides investment advisory services and advises the Amana Mutual Funds Trust and Saturna Funds. The role partners with the Chief Operations Officer to lead and improve the firm’s mutual fund and investment-management operations. It aligns teams, systems, processes, controls, and service providers to support growth, reliable service, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Partner with the COO on operational strategy, priorities, budgets, staffing, and improvement initiatives
• lead operations managers and teams across fund administration, investor services, brokerage, trading support, and related functions
• improve processes, systems, controls, reporting, and vendor relationships
• lead modernization and growth-readiness efforts
• maintain regulatory and operational controls
• coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Investment Management
• track incidents and service issues
• establish operational reporting
• serve as a senior escalation point and assume delegated operations leadership when the COO is unavailable.
