Construction Sales Director

The Construction Sales Director role is an onsite, full-time position in Buffalo, NY, supporting Monroe Tractor’s western construction branches. Compensation is $115,000–$125,000 per year. Monroe Tractor is a family-owned construction and agricultural equipment dealer serving customers across the northeastern United States. The director leads sales planning and execution, coaches and develops sales staff, and monitors performance against budgets and business goals. The role works with company leadership and branch managers to improve sales, customer service, profitability, and team effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Develop annual objectives and sales budgets with company leadership and branch managers
• lead recurring sales meetings
• ensure sales plans and programs address volume, profit, product mix, and market penetration
• recruit, hire, develop, and coach sales staff
• evaluate pricing, distribution, and competition
• oversee customer communications, trade-ins, equipment lines, department performance, records, reports, expenditures, and customer relations
• develop corrective action plans and provide staff feedback.
