Field Technician

Job overview

The Field Technician role is onsite at an assigned school site in McDonough, GA. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. Virtucom’s stated mission is to combine newer technology with education. The technician provides Level I hardware and software support so school technology remains functional. The role assists with devices and printers, communicates technical information to school personnel, and may support district projects or warehouse duties when selected.

What you'll do

• Provide Level I support for workstations, laptops, netbooks, tablets, and personal and network printers/copiers
• support in- and out-of-warranty devices
• communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
• pursue manufacturer repair certifications as needed
• support district projects and team members as needed
• perform warehouse duties if selected, such as deliveries, computer preparation, and out-of-warranty device repair.
