What you'll do

• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications
• perform quantity takeoffs for structural steel, joists, deck, and miscellaneous metals
• assist with cost estimates for materials, fabrication, labor, and subcontracted erection
• compile vendor and subcontractor pricing
• identify scope gaps and risks
• maintain cost data
• prepare estimates, proposals, and bid submissions
• coordinate with estimating, project management, and shop teams
• track scope changes and RFIs
• assist with AISC audit and administrative tasks.
