What you'll do

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection
• dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses
• take and verify eyewear measurements
• order lenses and coordinate with optical laboratories
• perform lensometry and operate optical equipment as needed
• complete basic repairs and adjustments
• assist with fitting and final inspection
• process optical sales, insurance claims, and patient transactions
• maintain patient and optical records
• follow HIPAA and office policies.
