Facility Engineer

Job overview

The Facility Engineer role is onsite in South Plainfield, NJ, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated compensation is $90,000–$140,000 annually. The role supports facility operations and manufacturing activities at the client site. The engineer coordinates maintenance, troubleshooting, utility monitoring, contractors, and facility improvement projects to minimize downtime and maintain compliance. The role also supports cleanroom conditions, production needs, and facility expansion through cross-functional coordination.

What you'll do

• Coordinate routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting
• maintain maintenance schedules and equipment records
• monitor facility equipment and utility performance
• support cleanroom HVAC, electrical, water, gas, vacuum, and other utility systems
• respond to alarms and production-impacting incidents
• coordinate vendors and contractors
• support facility upgrades and expansion projects
• maintain safety, compliance, and facility documentation
• communicate with headquarters in Mandarin and English.
