What you'll do

• Examine and treat detainees/inmates
• order studies, tests, and ancillary services
• prescribe and review medications and treatment
• counsel patients on medication effects and health practices
• maintain confidential electronic health records
• collaborate with medical and facility teams
• provide 24-hour on-call coverage to nursing staff
• conduct chart reviews and participate in mortality and peer reviews.
