Intermediate Cybersecurity Analyst

What you'll do

• Support enterprise cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, incident response, and risk analysis. Use data loss prevention, insider risk management, and AI data security posture management technologies. Review and triage data security alerts
• analyze access to and movement of sensitive information
• document findings and escalate incidents according to established procedures. Collaborate with technical and nontechnical teams to resolve security issues and support continuous improvement of the agency’s data security posture.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered) and a foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC). Three years of relevant experience is required. Experience with Cortex, AI-driven security tools, DLP policy tuning, Azure security, and related certifications is preferred.
