What you'll do

• Establish communication among school staff, parents, students, district administration, community members, and intergovernmental agencies
• liaise between classroom teachers and students
• provide academic counseling and guidance
• coordinate resources and use counseling techniques to meet student needs
• participate in program development
• implement intervention and prevention strategies
• coordinate state-mandated tests and other assessments
• assist with program reporting data
• and seek community resources for special projects.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in counseling, one year of counseling experience, an Arizona Counselor Certificate, and the ability to hold or obtain a valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card and Arizona driver’s license by hire. Three years of counseling experience is preferred.
