International Trade Compliance Specialist

The International Trade Compliance Specialist role is onsite in Waukesha, WI, with a salary of $75,000–$90,000 per year. As an individual contributor and primary onsite Foreign-Trade Zone administrator, the specialist owns the international trade compliance program and builds the processes, controls, and training needed to scale it. The role works across logistics, supply chain, engineering, finance, quality, and IT, and can place transactions on hold when information is incomplete or a compliance concern exists.

What you'll do

• Manage international trade compliance work
• administer the onsite Foreign-Trade Zone
• build compliance processes, controls, and training
• work with Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and IT
• review transactions and place them on hold when information is incomplete or compliance concerns arise
• interpret product information, bills of material, and software or encryption functionality
• work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies
• identify, escalate, and resolve compliance risks.
