What you'll do

• Administer and engineer MySQL and Oracle databases
• install and configure MySQL servers
• perform major and minor database upgrades
• manage accounts, access, backups, and tablespaces
• migrate databases
• monitor performance
• support database design and modeling, troubleshooting, and tuning
• perform system health checks, optimization, security and access-control reviews, and capacity planning. Occasional after-hours call-in is required.
