Direct Support Professional/Certified Medication Technician

The Direct Support Professional/Certified Medication Technician role is onsite in Aberdeen, MD, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. Virtuous Inc is a Maryland nonprofit providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities in Central Maryland. The role supports individuals' independence, self-advocacy, and quality of life through supervision, training, and assistance at home and in the community. It also supports individual plans, daily living skills, safety, and medication administration in accordance with the MTTP.

What you'll do

• Support and engage individuals with disabilities at home and in the community
• provide supervision and training according to individual plans
• encourage individuals to pursue their goals
• communicate with service providers when requested
• assist with mobility, budgeting, community integration, community resources, and personal hygiene
• monitor as indicated in individual plans
• help maintain a clean and safe home
• complete reports and records
• assist with home maintenance and meal preparation as needed
• use approved crisis intervention techniques in emergencies
• administer medications in accordance with the MTTP.
