Field Service Technician I

The Field Service Technician I role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, with off-site customer service work; compensation is $18.11–$30.07 per hour. HOLT CAT’s technician supports customers by troubleshooting and repairing light and heavy construction equipment at their locations. The role helps keep customer equipment operating safely and reliably through minor repairs, basic diagnostics, parts replacement, repair testing, service documentation, and communication with customers and supervisors. Travel, including possible overnight stays, is required.

What you'll do

• Perform minor off-site repairs and troubleshooting on construction equipment
• diagnose equipment malfunctions
• remove, install, disassemble, and assemble parts and components
• test repairs
• complete service reports and job documents
• order parts and maintain customer records
• maintain service vehicle inspection records and driver logs
• follow safety, contamination-control, and HAZMAT requirements
• communicate job progress
• complete assigned training.
