Inspector – Residential Construction Energy Compliance

Job overview

The Inspector – Residential Construction Energy Compliance role is onsite in Whittier, CA, with daily travel to multiple residential development sites. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. ARCXIS provides inspection, design, engineering, energy-efficiency, and quality-assurance services to the residential construction industry. The inspector verifies newly constructed homes against HERS, ENERGY STAR, federal, and utility program requirements. The role performs field testing, documents results, coordinates with builders and site teams, and communicates correction items to support compliance and energy-efficient construction.

What you'll do

• Perform field inspections and HERS compliance testing at new construction sites
• travel daily to multiple job sites
• complete inspection reports
• communicate inefficiencies and correction items to superintendents and trades
• maintain daily mileage logs and real-time tracking.
