Math Instructor / Tutor

The Math Instructor / Tutor role is onsite in Queensbury, NY, with pay of $17–$19 per hour. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand, master, and enjoy it. The role exists to deliver individualized math instruction to K–12 students in a group setting and help them progress through learning sessions. Instructors use the Mathnasium Method and instructional materials, assess student engagement and progress, and collaborate with the center team.

What you'll do

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• collaborate with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting
• assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions
• become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
