Quantum Sky’s Network Assurance and Defensive Cyber Operations team supports DISA Pacific in protecting Department of Defense networks and mission partner enclaves. The specialist engineers, tests, deploys, and tracks cyber defenses across boundary sensors, cloud access points, SIEM platforms, and classified networks. The role turns threat intelligence into detection and mitigation measures while maintaining network stability and operational readiness.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and deploy custom detection and prevention signatures
• tune perimeter defenses and automated blocking
• analyze telemetry and refine blocking rules
• track countermeasures and configuration changes
• maintain rollback procedures
• manage signature and rule lifecycles
• develop cloud and Zero Trust defenses
• translate threat intelligence into mitigations
• document actions and coordinate with operational commands.
