Associate Clinician — Adult Behavioral Health

Job overview

The Associate Clinician role is onsite in Georgetown, DE, with a PRN schedule and pay of $21 per hour. Elwyn’s mission is to support people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges in leading meaningful lives. The clinician provides daily care, counseling, and advocacy to residents with chronic mental illness and co-occurring disorders. The role uses recovery-based interventions and treatment planning to help clients build skills and pursue social, economic, emotional, and personal independence in the community.

What you'll do

• Provide counseling and advocacy in a therapeutic residential setting
• recognize mental illness symptoms and intervene therapeutically
• support clients through advocacy and skill building
• monitor medications according to guidelines
• develop, implement, and modify treatment plans
• maintain accurate client records
• help ensure a safe and clean environment
• provide psycho-educational services to clients and families as required.
