Production Engineer

The Production Engineer role is an onsite position based in Huntsville, AL. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the critical mission of verifying missile flight hardware and propulsion systems for DoD programs. This role exists to ensure that complex aerospace hardware is designed, fabricated, and tested in strict accordance with baseline standards. The engineer will audit prime contractor processes, enforce compliance with AIAA S-113 and related aerospace frameworks, and lead technical reviews to ensure mission assurance.

What you'll do

• Audit prime contractor engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
• Apply AIAA S-113 standards to ordnance and propulsion subsystems.
• Participate in technical baseline reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, FRR).
• Evaluate Material Review Board dispositions and oversee Failure Review Boards.
• Review and approve test procedures and results.
• Lead Integrated Product Team meetings with suppliers.
