Early Head Start Teacher

Early Head Start Teacher is an onsite role in Irmo, SC. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The teacher supports infants and toddlers from birth to age three through care and education aligned with Head Start Program Performance Standards. The role creates a safe, nurturing learning environment and supports children’s development through age-appropriate experiences, observation, and documentation. It also contributes to family engagement by communicating with families and participating in home visits and parent conferences.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and daily learning experiences
• maintain a safe, healthy classroom
• complete developmental screenings, assessments, and observations
• communicate with children’s families
• maintain records in compliance with program standards and licensing regulations
• participate in home visits, conferences, training, and staff meetings
• collaborate with classroom staff and specialists.

Why this role
