What you'll do

• Develop conceptual and physical substation electrical designs, calculations, general arrangements, equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts, grounding analysis and design, switchgear design, conduit and cable design, and bills of materials using AutoCAD or MicroStation
• learn utility standards
• support client relationships and quality initiatives
• attend site visits as requested
• complete assignments within budget and schedule
• mentor designers and engineers
• review work for accuracy and standards adherence
• work overtime as required by customer needs.
