Registered Nurse (MDS)

The Registered Nurse (MDS) role is onsite in Poulsbo, WA. Compensation is $44–$47 per hour. Martha & Mary is a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing care and services to seniors and families in the Greater Kitsap area. Working with the interdisciplinary team, the nurse completes and coordinates Minimum Data Set assessments and related documentation for assigned residents. Accurate assessments, coding, and timely submissions support care planning, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess resident needs
• coordinate care management meetings and assessment reference dates
• complete the RAI process in compliance with federal and state regulations
• monitor MDS and care-plan documentation
• code MDS assessments using records, observation, and interviews
• maintain computerized MDS data and schedules
• participate in quality assurance
• submit required documentation
• provide leadership support to licensed nursing staff through rotating on-call coverage
• educate aides on ADLs and MDS assessments.
