What you'll do

• Provide overall medical direction and support regulatory compliance
• participate in the interdisciplinary group and review patient-care, emergency, and infection-control policies
• review education quality and participate in QAPI meetings and performance improvement projects
• develop and review treatment protocols
• represent the hospice program to community referral sources and provide hospice and palliative-care education
• certify hospice eligibility, establish plans of care, review records or examine patients, and oversee medications and treatments
• review clinical care and documentation
• support physician onboarding and resolve clinical or ethical concerns
• maintain clinical notes and participate in on-call duties.
