Engineering Intern

Job overview

The Engineering Intern role is onsite across Hamilton, Sedro-Woolley, and Bellingham, WA. Pay is $25–$30 per hour, plus a discretionary bonus. Janicki Industries designs and builds engineering solutions for aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture industries. The intern applies engineering principles to technical problems and supports projects from preliminary design through engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning, working with multidisciplinary teams and an assigned mentor.

What you'll do

• Apply basic engineering principles to technical problems
• manage small projects through design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
• complete assignments from an assigned mentor
• communicate and collaborate with engineers, technicians, machinists, and managers
• identify opportunities and help resolve problems.

Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering degree program. Due to ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Intern applications will be reviewed beginning November 2026.
