What you'll do

• Teach curriculum including World, US History, American Government, and Economics, preparing students for AP and collegiate coursework.
• Facilitate student-led discourse of historical topics.
• Guide students to understand author's claim and power of sourcing through primary and secondary source analysis.
• Build an inclusive and safe environment.
• Work with the History department on academic and engagement goals.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work and assessments.
• Differentiate instruction for all learners.
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families.
• Engage in professional development, mentorship, and coaching.
• Participate in school-wide meetings.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

1-2 years experience preferred.
