Tutor (K–8) is an onsite, part-time role in Alpharetta, GA. Pay is $32–$35 per hour. Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta provides academic enrichment, mentoring, and leadership development to help girls succeed in school and life. The tutor supports K–8 students’ academic progress through individual and small-group instruction, targeted interventions, homework help, and enrichment activities. The role monitors learning, builds student confidence, and coordinates with families, teachers, and program staff to support achievement.

What you'll do

• Tutor individual and small groups in grades K–8
• provide instruction in reading, mathematics, language arts, and science
• assess strengths and learning needs
• develop individualized strategies
• support homework, study habits, organization, and test preparation
• plan enrichment activities
• monitor attendance and progress
• maintain records
• communicate with families and school personnel
• collaborate with program staff.
