Auto Glass Technician — Mobile Installations

The Auto Glass Technician role is onsite in the Lufkin, TX area, with mobile installations at customer locations throughout the area. Compensation is $25–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Drive Tech ADAS provides automotive glass services and ADAS calibrations for collision repair centers and automotive businesses. This technician replaces and installs vehicle glass while following manufacturer procedures and applicable safety standards. The work supports safe vehicle operation through careful installation, inspection, documentation, and coordination with calibration technicians when vehicles require ADAS calibration.

What you'll do

• Replace windshields and other automotive glass, including side windows and back glass
• prepare bonding surfaces and apply primers and adhesives
• follow manufacturer procedures and AGRSS requirements
• observe safe-drive-away times
• inspect vehicles and document existing damage and completed work
• identify vehicles requiring ADAS calibration and coordinate with calibration technicians
• maintain tools, equipment, materials, and service vehicles
• communicate with customers, collision centers, dispatch, and office personnel
• complete service documentation.
