Project Manager, Data Center and Telecom Construction

The Project Manager, Data Center and Telecom Construction role is onsite daily at a client site in DeKalb, IL. Pay is $62–$65 per hour. The role supports major data center and telecom construction initiatives, including high-visibility infrastructure programs. The project manager leads field execution across the project lifecycle, coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The role also manages risks, contracts, resources, and operational processes to support reliable infrastructure delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead data center field operations across capacity, network services, and physical-layer work
• manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources
• coordinate change control and service-level performance
• serve as onsite escalation point
• enforce safety, environmental, building-code, and industry requirements
• oversee quality assurance and control for physical-layer work
• manage incidents, risks, vendors, invoices, and project reporting
• communicate status and coordinate teams.

Why this role

Standard site hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with after-hours and weekend support as needed. Requires at least five years of construction or project-management leadership experience focused on data centers or telecom construction; OSHA 30 must be obtained within 60 days if not already held.
