Lead Infant Teacher

Job overview

The Lead Infant Teacher role is onsite in Owings Mills, MD. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour. The Goddard School provides an early childhood education setting focused on supporting infant learning and development. The teacher leads infant classroom care and instruction, individualizing routines and learning experiences to each child’s developmental needs. The role supports children’s growth and well-being through responsive caregiving, family communication, developmental observation, and collaboration with classroom colleagues.

What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily routines using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• individualize care to infants’ developmental needs and schedules
• maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• lead feeding, diapering, nap, and play routines
• mentor Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers
• communicate with families about daily care and development
• maintain records and licensing compliance
• observe and document development
• and participate in professional development and collaboration.
