SC2 Therapist

The SC2 Therapist role is onsite in Chicago, IL, and is full-time at 40 hours per week. Compensation is $56,260–$58,000 per year. BUILD works on gang intervention, violence prevention, and youth development in Chicago’s West Side communities. The therapist provides timely, trauma-informed support to people affected by violence, helping address behavioral and mental health needs through therapy, crisis intervention, stabilization, and coordinated services. The role collaborates with community partners, hospitals, and internal teams and supports outreach, case management, referrals, and program outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group therapy
• deliver crisis intervention and short-term stabilization in community and hospital settings
• conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain clinical documentation
• coordinate care with partners and staff
• conduct outreach
• provide case management and referrals
• assist the Intervention Team during youth crises
• document program activities and outcomes.
