Project Engineering Technician I — Construction Quality Assurance

What you'll do

• Perform in-place soil moisture and density testing and undisturbed Shelby tube sampling
• prepare samples for laboratory testing
• support observation of geosynthetic deployment, panel placement, seam welding, and anchor trench installation
• document installation of geosynthetic materials
• monitor soil placement, compaction, grading, and protective cover installation
• prepare detailed daily field reports
• communicate with project engineers, field leads, and construction personnel
• follow safety, regulatory, and project quality assurance requirements
• travel to project sites throughout the Southeast.
