Instructional Designer 1

The Instructional Designer 1 role is onsite in Waller, TX. Compensation is not specified. The role supports business training development and reports to the Director of Learning & Development or Manager of Curriculum Design & Development. The designer works with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze needs and create or revise training materials across classroom, webinar, online, and other formats. The work supports employee learning and business objectives by building instructional quality into project deliverables.

What you'll do

• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts on needs analysis and training development
• edit existing content and create new materials using templates and standards
• develop instructor and participant guides, job aids, presentations, assessments, online courses, and videos as applicable
• apply adult learning principles
• evaluate training effectiveness
• organize and edit instructional content
• use authoring and graphic design tools
• communicate priorities and project progress.
