Floor Care Technician

Job overview

The Floor Care Technician role is onsite in Omaha, NE, and pays $21–$24 per hour. Compensation is hourly. Commercial Flooring Systems’ facilities team maintains clean, safe, and attractive environments. The technician cleans and maintains tile, carpet, vinyl, concrete, and hardwood flooring, helping keep facilities safe and presentable. The role also supports general janitorial needs and follows established maintenance schedules.

What you'll do

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered equipment
• strip, wax, buff, and polish hard surfaces
• extract and spot-clean carpets
• maintain equipment and report mechanical issues
• follow safety guidelines and use PPE
• assist with janitorial duties
• monitor and restock supplies
• report maintenance or safety issues
• follow floor-maintenance procedures and schedules.
