Evening and Overnight Job Coach / Employment Specialist

The Evening and Overnight Job Coach / Employment Specialist role is onsite and community-based, serving the Dumfries and Fredericksburg, VA area. Compensation is $21–$22 per hour. RISE Services supports a person with a disability in maintaining employment and building workplace independence. The coach provides individualized support during the participant’s work shifts, including transportation as assigned, instruction in job duties and workplace routines, progress documentation, and communication with the participant’s support network. The role helps the participant develop skills and independence while sustaining successful employment.

What you'll do

• Travel to Dumfries to pick up the participant and accompany or transport them to the Fredericksburg worksite
• provide job coaching during evening and overnight shifts
• teach job duties, routines, safety, time management, and employer expectations
• encourage independence
• document progress and services
• communicate with the participant, family or support team, employer, and management
• report incidents and schedule changes.
