Registered Nurse — Endoscopy

The Registered Nurse — Endoscopy role is onsite in Fremont, CA, with stated pay of $65–$75 per hour. The nurse supports the endoscopy department at Washington Outpatient Surgery Center, a multi-specialty center with operating and procedure rooms that provides outpatient surgical services. The nurse provides direct perioperative care across pre-op evaluation, admission, conscious sedation, recovery, and post-op follow-up. Coordinating with patients, families, physicians, and the care team helps ensure individualized care and continuity through each phase of the procedure.

What you'll do

• Participate in the perioperative process
• conduct telephone pre-op evaluations and assess patients before admission
• provide pre-op instructions
• administer medications and provide individualized care
• communicate patient status and schedule changes to the team, physicians, and families
• develop care plans
• obtain and report lab results as indicated
• assess and document patient status in recovery and at discharge
• conduct post-op calls and provide education and advice as needed.
