Security Associate — Second Shift

The Security Associate — Second Shift role is onsite in Eugene, OR. Pay is $19 per hour. The Safe & Secure team protects Carvana associates, customers, and vehicles at its locations. The role helps keep the site safe and operational by monitoring access and cameras, tracking vehicle movement, identifying hazards, and responding to emergencies. It also supports site operations through safety audits, accurate reporting, and coordination with Inspection Center and Logistics teams.

What you'll do

• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts using the Unified Security Platform
• manage gate access and vehicle movement with the Safe & Secure App and RFID
• conduct safety audits and identify hazards
• scan vehicles and research vehicle locations
• follow emergency protocols and provide first aid, CPR, or AED assistance when needed
• support site operations in varied weather.

Why this role

Schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 5:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.; Friday–Sunday, 7:30 p.m.–4:00 a.m. Open availability is highly preferred. Requires 1–2 years in a customer service environment; first aid, CPR, and AED training and certification are provided.
