The specialist manages the flow of parts into and out of inventory, supporting warehouse operations and parts availability. Accurate receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and documentation help ensure parts are properly controlled and available for internal requests and sales orders.

What you'll do

• Prepare will-call orders and receive payment when needed
• monitor the warehouse customer counter
• prepare requisitions for Parts Runners and sales orders
• calculate freight charges and prepare invoices and packing slips
• perform cycle counts
• store and pick parts using FIFO
• verify part and serial numbers and quantities
• inspect received materials for damage
• quarantine and report potentially unapproved or damaged parts
• move larger items with a two-person lift or forklift as needed.
