Telecom Outside Plant Planner

The Telecom Outside Plant Planner role is primarily office-based in Northville, MI, with field work or travel as needed. What you'll do

• Set up and prepare detailed project drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• coordinate drawing delivery with project managers
• interpret map-based data using platforms such as Esri or Google Earth
• meet local municipal design standards and specifications
• interpret utility records and Michigan's MISS DIG system
• perform drawing-file quality assurance and quality control
• coordinate deadlines with project managers, engineers, and designers
• document project milestones
• support permit acquisition.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in AutoCAD drafting or equivalent experience and at least two years of AutoCAD Civil experience; MDOT and MicroStation experience are a plus. Field work or travel may be needed.
