The Fitness Floor Monitor role is onsite in Sherwood, OR. Compensation is not specified. The role supports the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette’s Healthy Living and Youth Development departments and its mission-driven community work. The monitor guides members in fitness spaces, conducts new-member and youth orientations, supervises wellness-floor activity, and helps maintain equipment and facilities. The role contributes to safe, welcoming member experiences and supports members’ health and wellness goals.

What you'll do

• Monitor fitness programs and facility use
• conduct new-member and youth cardio/strength orientations
• guide members on exercise form and technique
• supervise wellness-floor activity
• maintain and clean equipment and facilities
• respond to emergencies
• support member retention and answer inquiries. Current CPR and First Aid certification and passing a YMCA background check are required.
