What you'll do

• Manage accounting operations, including budgeting, audits, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• maintain accounting policies and procedures
• coordinate budgets and projections
• monitor financial performance, cash flow, and reserves
• support Board Finance and Audit Committees
• lead audits and prepare tax and audit schedules
• oversee donor-restricted funds and reconciliations
• analyze costs and program impacts
• ensure deadlines and reporting requirements are met
• maintain banking relationships and approve invoices.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in management; nonprofit accounting and donor-restricted fund experience; and knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. CPA or MBA is preferred.
