Range Controller

The Range Controller is an onsite role based in Dugway, UT, supporting the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the West Desert Test Center's mission to conduct critical chemical and biological defense testing for the Department of Defense. This role exists to ensure the safety and efficiency of testing and training events within the proving ground boundaries. The Range Controller coordinates range activities, manages airspace for manned and unmanned aircraft, and identifies hazardous conditions to maintain a secure environment for complex weapons and commodity testing.

• use air traffic control procedures for aircraft
• support chemical, biological, and artillery testing arenas.
