Street Department Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Street Department Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Carlinville, IL, with pay of $23 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with overtime. Woodard & Curran supports clean water, a safe environment, and healthy communities through engineering, science, and operations services. The technician performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on right-of-way, streets, water distribution, and sewer collection systems. The work supports reliable infrastructure operations and is completed according to established safety, operating, and emergency-response procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance assignments under the project maintenance and repair program
• complete housekeeping duties in the maintenance department and on vehicles as assigned
• follow safety, operating, and emergency-response procedures
• perform work to meet project goals and objectives.
