The Senior Shelter Operations Manager is an onsite, full-time role at Oasis in Tacoma, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $33.65–$36.06 per hour. The position supports operations across multiple Enhanced Shelter locations for the Low Income Housing Institute. The role helps maintain safe, coordinated shelter services by supervising staff and site activities, supporting program compliance, and responding to participant needs and emergencies. It also coordinates records, supplies, community outreach, and operational reporting across shelter teams.

What you'll do

• Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate staff
• guide Shelter Operations Managers at other shelters
• maintain program rosters
• monitor shelter sites and surrounding areas
• support participant safety and intake
• enforce the code of conduct
• conduct community outreach
• maintain supplies
• respond to participant concerns and on-site emergencies
• document incidents and maintenance needs
• complete required training and follow PPE protocols.
