The Technical Product Owner, Internal Developer Platforms role is hybrid in Louisville, KY, with compensation of $55–$65 per hour on W-2. The role sits within the KFC US Solutions Architecture team and supports platform capabilities underpinning KFC's digital operations. The product owner turns engineering-team needs into prioritized platform work, helping improve developer experience, self-service, automation, and adoption. Clear requirements and product metrics help align platform delivery with engineering and business priorities.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the internal developer-platform roadmap
• own and manage the backlog
• translate customer needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• track adoption, satisfaction, efficiency, and productivity metrics
• communicate priorities and progress
• support planning and capacity management
• gather engineering-team feedback
• partner with SRE, DevOps, Solutions Architecture, KFC product teams, Byte platform engineering, and cloud and security teams
• support platform adoption, self-service, and automation.
