Pharmacist — Long-Term Care, Closed-Door Pharmacy (2nd Shift)

What you'll do

• Review, interpret, and clinically verify prescriptions and medication orders
• perform final verification of prepared medications
• identify and resolve medication-safety issues
• communicate with prescribers, facilities, caregivers, and internal partners
• oversee pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists within applicable law
• support assigned pharmacy workflows
• maintain documentation and comply with privacy, security, quality, controlled-substance, and regulatory requirements
• participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Why this role

Requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program and an active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice. Long-term-care, institutional, closed-door, specialty, infusion, IV, or high-volume pharmacy experience is preferred.
