What you'll do

• Operate Class 8 autonomous and manual vehicles on closed courses and public roads
• execute platform verification, validation, and release testing
• document precise evaluations
• conduct vehicle dynamics and characterization campaigns, including offsite proving-ground testing
• administer operator certification checks
• maintain operator documentation
• assess DOT and CVSA compliance
• train operators
• escalate safety findings and stop testing when warranted.

Why this role

Requires 8+ years in a vehicle operator, commercial test driver, or technically equivalent Class 8 role, including 4 years with autonomous or ADAS-equipped vehicles; CDL Class A and current Medical Examiner's Certificate required. Flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and travel to other operational sites and partner proving grounds are required.
