What you'll do

• Present treatment plans and explain services, costs, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements
• follow up on unscheduled or outstanding treatment
• coordinate appointments
• review insurance coverage and estimated patient responsibility
• discuss payment options and collect deposits or payments when appropriate
• maintain patient notes and treatment-plan documentation
• collaborate with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and front-office staff
• monitor treatment acceptance
• and assist with front-office and administrative work.
